The Association for Neuro-Linguistic Programming has issued an advice sheet for HR professionals on how to check the credentials of trainers and manage contracts with them. The advice sheet can be ordered on 01384 443935.

The trademark registration on the term "NLP" has been transferred from McKenna Breen to Richard Bandler, one of the original developers of the technique in the US.

McKenna Breen, a company in which Paul McKenna is a partner, first registered NLP as a trademark in this country, as reported in our 18 December issue. The company acts as Bandler's agent in the UK. McKenna has asked PM to make it clear that he has no involvement in Bandler's litigation concerning copyright against various trainers in the US.
